Get Out and Be Proud: 2008 Pride Round-Up

July 4 thru 6 - The Atlanta Pride Festival. The 2008 Atlanta Pride Festival has relocated from Piedmont Park due to the Atlanta Civic Center Complex. The Dyke March will be on Saturday, July 5th at 6pm and the Parade will be on Sunday, July 6, 2008 and will begin at 1:00 p.m.

July 12 - Myrtle Beach GLBT Pride.  Myrtle Beach is holding the 1st GLBT Pride in 10 years! Come join us for the festivities 11am-5pm at the Train Depot at 850 Broadway St. Myrtle Beach, SC. There will be many vendors, live entertainment, and more! There will be an after party from 8pm-midnight also at the Train Depot. Everyone come enjoy the Sun, Sand and Pride!

July 26 - Pride Charlotte 2008.  Join us for the fun in Gateway Village from 11am to 6pm.  For more information, visit www.pridecharlotte.com.

September 20 - The 2008 SC Pride Festival and Parade in Finlay Park, Columbia, South Carolina.  The Pride events will begin September 13, 2008 with the 2008 Miss & Mr. SC Pride Pageant at PT’s Cabaret and culminate with the Festival in Finlay Park, featuring performances by RuPaul and several other entertainers and speakers. 

RuPaul will headline the 2008 South Carolina Pride Festival.  All South Carolinians, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, are encouraged to attend.  Admission to the park & parade is free.  Tickets for VIP seating at the event will be sold after June 1, 2008. September 27 - NC Pride 2008 will take place on at Duke University East Campus in Durham, NC.  For more information visit www.ncpride.org.
